A clear ambition
Rather than creating a conventional launch moment, Rituals chose to turn the collection into an experience people could actively take part in.
Rituals wanted to celebrate the launch of the Sakura collection in a way that felt true to its origins. The ambition was to translate Hanami, the Japanese tradition of appreciating the beauty of cherry blossoms, into a digital experience that captures its sense of calm and attention. The experience blends brand storytelling, product discovery and a moment of mindfulness, without losing accessibility or marketing relevance.
