Turning employer branding into real world action with Kruidvat

livewall won a SAN Accent for the recruitment campaign #Vriendenteam with Kruidvat.

The campaign turns applying for a job into a social experience. We invited friends to join the recruitment journey together. It is an experience built around how young people naturally apply for jobs.

Applying for a first job can feel intimidating for many young people. Together with Kruidvat, we saw that applying alone often creates hesitation. This insight led to the idea of ‘solliciteren met je bestie’: applying for a job together with a friend. Instead of a traditional, solitary process, we designed #vriendenteam around how young people actually make decisions: together with someone they trust.

Making interaction work

To turn this concept into reality, livewall connected digital tools with physical experiences. We built a new careers page that made applying with a friend easy and intuitive. On TikTok, we launched a content strategy that reached over 3.3 million people, creating high levels of interaction.

We also brought the campaign into physical Kruidvat stores through a mobile photobooth tour. livewall managed both the technical infrastructure and the creative content. This kept the experience consistent: the message remained clear that joining a team is something you do together.

Why we won a SAN Accent

We introduced duo-applications and gave young people a real reason to show up together. The result was an 83% increase in applications. Winning the SAN Accent shows that focusing on human behavior works better than following corporate rules. The jury recognized how #vriendenteam removed the tension of a job application. By putting friendship at the center, Kruidvat became an approachable employer where young people feel comfortable.
