We're looking for an entrepreneurial intern who wants to dig into the market potential of this product. Your mission: find out where the real value lies, for whom, and how big the opportunity is.
CompetitorIQ is an AI-driven platform that gives retail brands real-time insight into their competitors. We continuously collect market data and translate it directly into smart, actionable intelligence. Think pricing strategies, assortment shifts, and positioning moves.
The product works and the first users are on board. Now the question is: how big is this, and for whom? As our AI Business Innovator intern, you'll sit at the heart of the innovation process. You'll work directly with the CompetitorIQ team to research target audiences, validate the proposition, and help shape the go-to-market strategy.
This isn't a sideline internship. You'll have real ownership, real impact, and direct access to the people making the decisions.
Market & competitor research
Research market potential and identify target audiences.
Conduct competitor analysis: who's already doing this, and how well?
Spot opportunities and translate them into concrete business ideas.
Customer validation
Prepare and conduct customer interviews.
Gather insights that shape the product proposition and positioning.
Strategy & go-to-market
Co-develop proposition, pricing, and positioning.
Support the go-to-market strategy with data-driven recommendations.
What you bring
Currently enrolled in a HBO or WO program (Business, Innovation, Marketing, Economics, or similar).
Genuine interest in AI, startups, and new business models.
Strong analytical skills combined with a commercial mindset.
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
